Companion Membership Terms
AMERICAN MORKSHIRE TERRIER REGISTRY - COMPANION MEMBERSHIP
CODE OF CONDUCT:
AS A COMPANION, WHEN I REGISTER MY DOG WITH THE AMERICAN MORKSHIRE TERRIER REGISTRY, I AGREE TO:
I have read, understand and agree to abide the American Morkshire Terrier Registry's Companion Membership Code of Conduct and AMTC terms and polices.
CODE OF CONDUCT:
AS A COMPANION, WHEN I REGISTER MY DOG WITH THE AMERICAN MORKSHIRE TERRIER REGISTRY, I AGREE TO:
- Abide by the American Morkshire Terrier Registry, terms of registration outlined here within;
- Pay the Membership fee of $25, (renewable each year for $10 - if interested in club events) and that;
- Anyone using AMTR registration applications or forms must abide by all current AMTR terms of pet companion polices and procedures;
- Upon successful registration of a dog or puppy with AMTR;
- ALL registrations with AMTR will be entered by online when possible. This ensures that your entered information will be registered in our AMTR database for Companion Members;
- Names of dogs registered with American Morkshire Terrier Registry must not exceed thirty-(30) characters, including spaces and punctuation marks. Any names that AMTR determine to be objectionable, including but not limited too obscene or profanity in nature, shall not be permitted;
- American Morkshire Terrier Registry accepts registration applications for processing and issues registration certificates for the American Morkshire Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier, Biewer, and Maltese breeds based on the accuracy of the information submitted by the registration applicants, the AMTR accepts no liability for any inaccurate, false, or fraudulent information submitted on registration applications;
- AMTR reserves the right to refuse registration to any person who is convicted of a crime of cruelty to animals in any state, province, or country;
- AMTR reserves the right to refuse registration to any person who acts in a manner that AMTR or AMTC deems unethical, fraudulent, and/or dishonest;
- American Morkshire Terrier registration applicants and certificate holders acknowledge that all AMTR registration applications and AMTR Certificates of Registrations (once issued) remain the property of AMTC and must be surrendered upon demand by AMTC;
- Anyone representing a puppy or dog as eligible for AMTR registration must deliver the proper AMTR registration certificate to the new owner at the time of sell or transfer. The new dog or puppy owner must immediately submit the registration certificate to AMTR with the appropriate fee in order for AMTR to certify the registration;
- It is the responsibility of each Companion Member to notify AMTR of any changes in your dog's registration status such as its death or change in ownership. When transferring ownership of a AMTR -registered dog- the certificate holder must sign the back of the certificate and have the new owner fill-out their name and address. The new owner must also sign the certificate and return it to AMTR with the transfer of ownership fee.
